saved my ass. It seems that there are a number of causes but unapproved 3rd party apps have been the cause for me. Itunes then just worked and the error disappeared. this content I deleted it, did nothing else and it worked fine again!
wow! I tried using a different USB cable - that didn't work, I tried turning it off and on - but I can't because it's stuck in the middle of turning off, I can't seem to fix it. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO!
