Will keep you posted.... I tried restore it but still got:SQL1039CAn I/O error occurred while accessing the database directory. Now, Catalog the node again as a local node: CATALOG LOCAL NODE ...NODENAME.. (syntax check from command reference) Now catalog the database at this Local node and try to reconnect. Once I had the same issue on AIX (DB2 UDB ESE 8.1) and got that resolved like this way. thank's I have the exact same problem with FP7a and FP6a instances on Linux 32 bit. Assume the database directory is damaged.
