Probably the best blog response on how you can easily resolve this if it is a dependency issue is An error occurred while validating. Fixing this, resolved both the app compilation, and the setup validation error. I did include all the prerequisites in the prerequisites tab though, which I hoped would be enough. I have included reference of all referenced project and deployment project built fine.
