I removed it again and I was able to see all of my Images again. What you did dosn't make sense. I performed a restore from the second drive in the recovery environment no problems so for now I think i'll' have to put this issue on the back burner as I

I changed it so that within the shared folder I have another folder for each computer where each machines files from backup and restore are now stored.
