I put it flat down and it read the game fine.You could also try vacuuming the vents btw. The system operations manual says that if this message pops up, there is something wrong with the system, but since it doesn't happen that often, it's not worth losing the console So it isn't the wii that is messed up because everything else works fine.

We used an air pump to blow air into the console. If the Game Disc works properly in another Wii console, the problem may be with the Wii console itself.
